False Imprisonment is the tortious act of physically restricting or confining another person.
The elements of false imprisonment are:
- An act intending to confine an individual within boundaries fixed by the actor,
- The act directly or indirectly results in such a confinement of the other,
- The other is conscious of the confinement or is harmed by it.
